Cubism – a working definition
Cubism originated in the first decade of the twentieth century. It is an Art form abstract in which it is generally considered to be dissected by the artist, then put together again, but with the conventions of art figurative deleted. Complex shapes are reduced to basic geometric depth cues are removed, and faces that would not be visible to the observer for a position, but they are represented on the canvas. Certainly one of the most academic art and the first branch of cubism, cubism record was well named.Â
To understand the Cubism of Picasso and it is important to know something about the development of the artist and the state art at the time.
The evolution of Cubism
Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque is credited the invention of cubism. Accounts differ as to whether it is first Braque or Picasso idea or discovery was made the same. The latest version is accepted that Picasso Braque persuaded to make the transition from Fauvism to the new form.
Cubism was not out of nothing, however, its roots and can certainly see the work of Gauguin Post-Impressionists and Cézanne, especially the latter. Cezanne is a reductionist, said that any nature could be reduced to simple geometric shapes such as spheres, cylinders and cones. More importantly, he developed a style that uses what can be described as facets of color, who gave his Paintings a sense of more than one point of view. It is generally accepted, However, it was not really Cubist works. The early works of Picasso Cubist Braque true, and not just the views that were relatively close in space, like Cezanne, but going so far as to show both front and back of an object side by side and in the even canvas.Â
Formal Training Picasso Art
Picasso received formal training in art from his father after seven years. At thirteen, his father, a distinguished scholar of art, has announced that his son was beaten and abandoned painting. Picasso attended schools Formal art, but do not respond well to them, probably because of the conclusion of the work too easy, and her father was her primary academic influence. Many people assume that only worked with Picasso abstraction, but this is far from the truth. His father was very demanding and stressed the importance of copying the work of teachers and the study of the human figure. Â
Blue and Rose Periods
Picasso's working life are often divided into periods of art. The blue period paintings were generally pessimistic in nature and predominant color is blue. Then came the period increased when his paintings became more warmer tone and more optimistic. Both periods are characterized a representation with some level of abstraction that should be the hallmark of Picasso. He did it gradually increase its use of symbolism during these periods, which offers a wireless connection for later work.A Sun
Period Africa
After his period Pink is the period from Africa or African influence. The paintings of this period show a clear trend towards cubism come later. Paints this period the use of geometry and composition, as well as the palette that could be applied in the form of Cubism, but philosophy underlying this form of art has not yet taken. Analytical Cubism introduced a level of detachment and movement away from the expression is a requirement of Modern Art, mostly minimalism and conceptual art. Without doubt, it was the friendship of Picasso and Braque, who facilitated discussions with the time jump decorative pieces from Africa to Cubism. much deeper
Picasso and Cubism
Picasso Cubist work produced a decade from 1909 until shortly after the First World War, the first three years have been devoted to developing analytical cubism and the next seven, Synthetic Cubism. Synthetic Cubism was developed Picasso and Braque, Juan Gris. A strong argument can be made that Gray was really the pioneer of the Synthetic Cubism of Picasso and Braque and disciples. Unlike inventors of cubism analytical Gris tends to work with strong colors and vivid and often used in unconventional ways.Â
Plays
No artist or period art can be studied independently of their geography or time. To understand both Picasso and Cubism is essential to know some other artists working in time and the artists who in turn influenced them. It is in this spirit that I recommend have a general idea of Picasso and the following artists at least.
- Matisse
- Cezanne
- Gauguin
- Braque
- Gray

Truth.Art Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth Paul says Picasso.Do you agree and how?
Sometimes Picasso was very eloquent, and sometimes looked like a poll RT @ f old woman who had drunk too much. As for saying that. Art is not a lie or truth. Truth and falsehood are the mental concepts. Art is primarily a hardware and created one at that. If it is not tangible, not art. Replace the word "furniture" for the word "art" the appointment, and you begin to understand why the price falls flat. Geniuses are not always interesting or correct.
